S4 NA --> S4 TII AFM, voltages

Ok, I got a couple S4 turbo ii AFM's and I'd like to put it in my S4 NA. The flapper is slightly larger and the difference may be negligible....but hey the S4 NA needs all the help it can get.

There is one part on the tii afm that can be drilled which will reveal a voltage adjuster-- what voltage values am I going to need to make this work with the S4 NA?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I but couldn't find any pertinent information as far as voltage correction goes. Thanks in advance!

no one?

I always thought N/A and T2 AFMs weren't interchangable??

Oh and have you ever gotten my PMs about the spoiler?

There is no advantage to doing this, they both flow the same mount of air. The spring tensions and potentiometer resistances are different, so they shouldn't be swapped.

That adjustment is an air bypass used to calibrate the AFM at the factory.

uh i thought they flowed diff by about 200 cfm like 400cfm NA and 650cfm TURBO...but that is not pure quoting only what ive read from other various sites.
You can swap them but not for long term use, Kevin landers has done it numberous times to troubleshoot.

http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/showth...n&pagenumber=2 This is my favorite post ive ever read on that site its so rediculous its not even funny but they just so happened to have both the NA and Turbo AFM pages next to each other from the FSM so check it out

Wow, those are crazy figures. Both have the same sized inlet and outlet, so the only difference is going to be caused by turbo's stiffer spring, which might make it very slightly more restictive. Are you sure those figures weren't for the entire engine?

It is just me or is TeamFC3S now the slowest website on the planet... :(

You are on the other side of the world. :)

It used to be fine, faster than here in fact.

thanks for the links and the info guys!

screw AFMs! I need a haltech so i can get rid of that crap :p

I heard the 400, 650 cfm were max what the afm's could read, not how much they could flow.
