I run 100LL in my FB with no problem, actually runs smoother idle's better.Shoot bigger flames..... It did smoke the first time for about 5 minutes. But i did pump some old gas that had just a tad of Jet A mixed in, not on purpose the tank i used to drain the fuel had residual Jet A. Great part is i got another 55Gal drum to finish. Had a customer come in who needed his fuel cells replaced in his 182, and no where to put that gas.

We run everything on 100LL. We have an old tug with a dodge 318 v8 in it that is running on 5 cylinders and we run 100LL in that. We also run our small snow blower on 100LL and our 86 chevy fuel truck. The chevy fuel truck was actualy a one ton, converted to a 3/4 ton, then converted to a fuel truck. Its so hacked up its rediculous. I have been working on it for the past few weeks fixing the stupid thing. Got it running pretty good so far. They installed a Holley Carb on it that is made for light cars and trucks  Not for a 4000lb truck plus 650 gallon of 100LL. They also wonder why that engine doesn't run perfect.

I have only been working at the air field for a little over a month and I all of a sudden became the "Airfield Ground Mechanic". To much liability and to little money for me to feel comfertable with that label :(

They expect an engine that is built for low octane unleaded fuels to run perfect with high octane leaded fuels.

Jet fuel is nasty stuff!
