I've also have taken interest in this kit for my next build, hurry up and but it please so I can hear about the quality.

I bought the throttle elbow. Very high quality, but I haven't had the opportunity to mount it onto the TB yet though. I was planning on buying a few block off plates soon as well.

gameover2145 04-13-11 08:12 AM

This stuff looks like quality product.

I just wish they didn't have their logo plastered all over it.

HoustonMS3 04-13-11 01:28 PM

I was looking at these also and wondering if anyone had purchased them yet.

As far as the logo, you can have it stripped and re-anodized the color you want for around $35 and it will still be cheaper than a lot of alternative products.

Any more reviews on these Rising RPM products yet? :dunno:

I wish that the oil pedestal had a "through" design for the fuel lines.
The way that it is designed right now is that you are gonna use 4 more A/N connectors to run 2 lines.
You have to connect to the pedestal, then connect out of the pedestal.
..and Guys know that the fuel connectors are NOT cheap!

dwb87 01-25-12 03:33 PM

Compare them to KG Parts rails and hardware...

If you don't want the oil pedestal, you can buy just the two fuel rails for $119.95

For the quality and pricing... Hands down, Rising RPM.

they sure are. it's hard to find people who go to such extreme lengths without charging an arm and a leg. even the spacers are engraved with the engine series...

The products are great at such a good price.

I bought the Fuel rail set with the oil pedestal and I have no problem installing them or using them.

i dont find the logo annoying, I actually like it lol.

I just picked up the kit. Quality is awesome! The only thing I'm going to change is drilling the holes larger in the oil block to run the fuel hose though it instead of using the fittings there

what happened to Rising RPM the website is no longer I always wanted to buy his stuff

jjwalker 01-15-15 12:00 PM

Went out of business.

Aaron Cake 01-17-15 10:11 AM

Probably because everyone wanted to buy the stuff, but few did. The key problem to developing nice products for the FC.

R-X-R 01-17-15 06:28 PM

I am glad I bought most of his stuff b4 he went out of business. kind sucks to see such good products disappear.

raksj04 01-20-15 08:14 AM

I did buy his TB adapter, and it was so very pretty. How ever the thing that impressed me the most was the way it was packaged. It had so much foam in it, like he was shipping glass. I was looking to buy the FD UIM adapter but the website was gone.

I'd say the key problem is the fact that the FC was ALWAYS a niche vehicle and is now at least 25 years old...there is no market (moneyed or no) to sell to.

TonyD89 01-20-15 10:59 AM

A one off, not so pretty as the Rising RPM FD upper to TII lower adapter, is a piece of cake with rudimentary garage tools for the ones that really want it. I could simplify, cut some corners (no anodizing) and machine them for way less than what he was charging but clokker is right. Even at $50 no one would buy it.

misterstyx69 01-20-15 12:07 PM

Funny that some guys made a spacer that would in effect be used as a sandwich to mate the 2 parts together and charged 150 bucks.
You still needed to reposition holes on the Upper manifold to use it.
So really port matching was just as good an option to do in order to make all the pieces go together.
The Rising Rpm Eccentric bolts and the way the spacer allowed the bolts to position themselves was the main selling point.
No port matching,no fuss..just put the thing on and tighten it down.2 minutes done.

I got the setup when they were in production and put it on my engine and I am glad I didn't have to fart with a dremel etc to put the top on the engine.
..and Hmmm...since the parts are no longer produced it means that I can recoup the price when I go to sell it...YAY!!!

TonyD89 01-20-15 06:01 PM

He went out of business selling the part at $150. The market wouldn't support the price. I don't know what the sketchy market might bear.

driftxsequence 01-20-15 09:20 PM

Those BAC manifolds were pretty trick. I regret not picking one up.

raksj04 01-21-15 08:17 AM

I hold he comes back in a couple years.

barnett87rx7 01-21-15 10:17 AM
