MO RHD conversion

Thinking about doing the conversion and just need to know how much some people have paid for the RHD conversion, your help is greatly appreciated.

Well, you'll need an entire front clip, and then with the massive amounts of work it takes... I'd say $5k. No experience with it. But you are looking at big money.

It's getting pretty tough to import to here.

That's definitely on my list of options. I'm just trying to see what's going to cost less.

Why are you willing to spend about 2x what the car is worth just to be RHD? Unless you are a mail carrier, then it's basically useless. You could spend that same amount on suspension, or performance and get a much more feasible result.

I prefer RHD, and it's been too long since I've driven one.

a Front clip will usually run you around 2500 shipped. Maybe a little less, but expect crap.

Really after that, you need nothing but time and skill.

Just so you know. I just sold my RHD converted FC for a profit... Search my name to see the build thread.

I'm not a fan of rhd conversions but I'd check Canada since they can now import a lot of the older cars. It may be cheaper than getting something from NZ or Japan.

Seen it done before.

It's been done before, depending on where you live and what you can find.

Iv'e seen S5 13bt's swap engines for about $1500.00 canadian.
If you have some clue into what your doing, I wouldn't say no.
