Removing wheel stud?

Well there is some info on the archive, but it doesn't really answer my questions

So far I've gathered that you can not hammer it out! however, is it just a matter of pressing it out? Or do I have to remove the hub in order to remove the broken stud?

Finally, anybody knows the size?

BTW - Is one of the rear ones

Thanks!

You CAN hammer it out. I did this onceafter I broke one of mine off. It took me a while but I remember taking them out without taking the whole she-bang apart.
seems like it was a tight fit though.
