Redline Water Wetter vs Normal Coolant
I go braindead on this issue.
Which is the better option to run in my radiator for its cooling capacity: Redline Water Wetter 10% with Distilled Water 90% (as recommended) OR Normal Coolant diluted however much with water. Is the Redline stuff the better option? I am starting to get Water Temperature issues (cruising at 89-90degrees celcius) so i want the BEST cooling concoction available running in my radiator. In other words: What should I be using to optimize my radiator's cooling ability! Sincere thanx in advance for any replies, i am fretting on this issue. Mixes
I use about a 2 to 1 distilled water to coolant ratio, with a bottle of water wetter. Most of the people that I know who use watet wetter use some kind of mix like this, less then the 50/50 mixture with some amount of water wetter.
All water wetter does is get rid of point boiling (a surefactant or something) so that you don't get any hot spots. When I switched I didn't noticed any drop in coolant temps, I assume that's because while I'm getting rid of more heat at the radiator, the mixture is also absorbing more heat from the engine. |
