since you could pop start it maybe there is a short in the wiring somewhere.
When you crank the engine it draws the power and doesn't give your ignition system the power it needs. Good luck and not to be a dick but if you want help you need to take a little more time and care when asking for it. No one here HAS to help you and if they can't understand what you are saying they won't. I bet HAILERS can help you if you ask him nice. Once again good luck! |

ok so i think im getting closer... today i changed the battery an tryed to start it, it started twice an then died... but it sounded like it did when one of my injector plugs came off... i would give it gas right away an it would just die... but i took everything apart an started to back track i put my chacol canister back to the nipple... an made sure all my plugs on the injectors were on... one felt loose so i bent the prong a little to make it touch anget a beter connection... i tryed agian an it sounded closer to starting then battery died so im charging it now any ideas?

Are you saying you put a new battery in it, or even fully charged battery, because i know i can crank on mine ALOT before it will die. If so i would get a multimeter and start checking the electrical system closer.

Do you have another vehicle available that you could connect jumper wires to? If so, make sure the battery in the 7 is fully charged and then connect jumper wires to the other vehicles battery. Start the motor on the helper vehicle before trying to start the 7. This method lets you crank the engine a lot longer before the battery runs dead. But, you still don't want to overheat the starter.
Before you even start to start cranking the engine make sure its not flooded. |
