realy quick noob question

i was wondering if it would be at all beneficial to premix with my OMP still on

wouldnt that provide for better lubrication than OMP alone?

i would disable the OMP, but i am the type of person who forgets to premix, and that would be bad

The metering oil pump does a fine job by itself of keeping the engine oiled. Some would disagree with this, but there are plenty of high mileage rotary engines out there (mine included) that have never had the "benefit" of premix. So my opinion is that it is unnecessary if your stock metering oil system is in good shape.

That said, if you intend to run the car hard (ie. at the track) then a little premix certainly couldn't hurt. If I am going to spend the day at an autox or the road course, I'll premix a little.

the more oil you inject, the lower the octane of your fuel. Just premix and don't forget.
