Random Relay wired in dash

So I bought a black s5 dash and am working on putting it in my s4. I was running through all the wiring to make sure it was all good and matched up and I noticed at the driver side main blue plugs a relay is wired in, it is obviously not factory cause all the electrical tape. Its not to important cause I can just remove it and rewire the crap but does anyone by chance know what purpose this might serve?

probably either a supplemental relay for the parking lights or relay for an aftermarket alarm

What color wires are hooked up to what pins

red with green stripe and red with black stripe are cut and running directly into relay, Plain red and black with green stripe are spliced into but circuit is not interupted.

R/G and R/B are for the dash lights and running lights.

Can you list the pins? The should be numbered 87 (top), 87a (middle), 30 (bottom), 86 (left) 85 (right).

Sounds like the wired the relay in to turn on the parking lights or dash lights... perhaps the light switch or light switch harness has failed or is burnt???

3 Attachment(s)
I removed the relay and reconnected the stock wiring, I did not observe what pins they were coming from before I put it in. I guess I will just find out if it works when I finish my interior work. :)

Problem now is trying to figure out where a few plugs go. Two are behind the glove box both are white/clear plugs. The others are near the shifter. Here are the pictures.

Icemark thanks for all the help.

LOL edit. Everything works...battery was dead. so with those plugs unplugged everything works.
