R152a Air Conditioner Refrigerant
Stock 1987 N/A: In a recent (quite lengthy) thread it was stated that a comparable replacement refrigerant for older model cars (like ours) was R152a. Is this a true statement? Recharge existing stock systems without expensive conversions? If so, where can I get it?

It is used in keyboard duster cans. I recently bought a 3-pack from BigLots for $10. Some contain the bittermint so it's not huffed. I haven't seem any problem using it though.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions after you have read the thread. |
theres kits that you ccan get that have R12 compatable refridgerants. just read the side of the can when you buy it.
note: just about nothing works as well as R12, but nothing will kill you quite like R12 either. |
