quick question

my 1988 gxl has stock computer adjust shocks. are the rear shocks adjusted as well as the front?

I doubt either works by now. But, I believe it would be both. IIRC, the rear doesn't have as much of a change as the front. I'd have to look at the Yamaguchi book again to be sure. :dunno:

its all four corners, struts are good and worn by now though, both my GXLs did nothing when buttons where used, dont borther trying to buy a new set, buy some agx's which are manually tuneable by the turn of a screw/knob

the shocks were replaced when the previous owner had the car, at 60xxx, so they have about 100xxx on them.

and the switch box was cut out, and i dont know if there are even turning.
could i just remove the actuators and turn the top screw to full stiff on all four.

Are you sure he put adjustable shocks back in the car? I can't see why he would pay all that money for OE shocks just to tear out the control unit...

And yes, you can remove the actuators and adjust them manually.

*shudders* The second owner is a :tool: I'm sorry for you on that one. The last person to own my car was the same. Except he sprayed my interior red.... I guess I'm just lucky there wasn't a giant wing duct taped to the back of the car when I got it! :gayboy:
