quick question
my 1988 gxl has stock computer adjust shocks. are the rear shocks adjusted as well as the front?
|
I doubt either works by now. But, I believe it would be both. IIRC, the rear doesn't have as much of a change as the front. I'd have to look at the Yamaguchi book again to be sure. :dunno:
|
its all four corners, struts are good and worn by now though, both my GXLs did nothing when buttons where used, dont borther trying to buy a new set, buy some agx's which are manually tuneable by the turn of a screw/knob
|
the shocks were replaced when the previous owner had the car, at 60xxx, so they have about 100xxx on them.
and the switch box was cut out, and i dont know if there are even turning. could i just remove the actuators and turn the top screw to full stiff on all four. |
Are you sure he put adjustable shocks back in the car? I can't see why he would pay all that money for OE shocks just to tear out the control unit...
And yes, you can remove the actuators and adjust them manually. |
im the third owner, first owen was the type, 3K oil change no matter what, second owner, oh lets spray paint the interior white, and rip out this, then me
