quick question

Does the shifter box when full of fluid, able to drain into the main area of the gearbox? Does it have a overfill drain?

If not, is half way up the ball good enough?

I have the haynes manual and it doesnt say how much fluid goes in there, but if it covers the ball it should be okay, no big deal
