push button start

push button start

hey i got a vert i think it has a security system thing that came on them. well i bought it for 200 and they guy didnt have the key so should i get a key made, change locks from mly gtu parts car, or put in a push button start. i just want to get the car started cuz im just so excited bout have a fc again.
please some one tell what i should do. would he push button start interfere w/ the security system?

Swap the steering column or something, you need a key to unlock the steering column anyhow.

I would probably just swap the locks off your gtu, it would probably be easiest/cheapest

DEF change the GTU locks/ignition system to ur current car. The ignition is just 2 allen bolts and a few harness clips.

I had a push start button before and it was the most dreadfully ricer thing ever. There is so much wiring that isnt worth messing with. It's not too safe. It's easy for you to grind the flywheel when the button gets stuck.You won't have a cigarette lighter.

the locks are fairly easy, it's just 2 10mm bolts after you take off the door trim, to get the handle off, then there is a ring that you have to take off the lock cylinder. I don't know how to take off the ignition, if you do a search you could probably find something.
