I've got a 1987 FC, and I have a pretty big leak from my power steering pump. I cannot find a power steering pump for the early models. Does anyone know if a power steering pump off of a later model like an 88 or 89 will work? Current part number is FB0532600. Or if any one has an idea of where to find a rebuild kit would be awesome. Thanks everyone!

That's the type of pump my car came with as well (1986). It should have a round black cap on the reservoir if I recall correctly.

I also had issues finding a rebuild kit for it at the time and I ended up swapping it for the later S4 model with the white dipstick for the reservoir. No problems. I think the S5 pump is different and I'm not sure if it will work.
