Looks good!
Now you've earned the right to put a "Type R" sticker on your windshield, or maybe a "Powered by Honda" badge? :p:

Steve

vosko 04-19-02 06:33 PM

you know me i'm down like that :)

kabooski 04-19-02 06:35 PM

eh what are the plans you got in store for the car
drag radials?
better exhaust?
front mount
propane/NOS
rebuild with street port?

I mean I remember when I told my mech
when I wanted the motor street ported
that I would be happy if the car would run mid 14's
I did 14.6 with stock exhaust
Then I added a 3" exhaust
and a HD clutch
13.5@105MPH
Now! I want 12's :)

So I just ordered today E6K
and I have waiting
850cc BOSH injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
SX fuel reg
NPR FMIC
will run it on stock turbo @14PSI
till the turbo blows up :)
But I need to open the motor up again
seems I broke a coner seal or side piece

who knows where I want to go when I reach mid 12's :)

InfiniIIIREX 04-19-02 06:38 PM

I bet Ito could make some good money off selling those on here. Looks nice.

vosko 04-19-02 06:38 PM

for now i need a turbo rebuild.... lots of smoke. i want to see if i can run a low 13 if not high 12 without fmic. i have drag slicks on fd rims from my FD. i don't want to go too crazy with this car i do have an FD that is gonna be very *slow* ;)

mine is a custom one off design. he only has 20 engines sitting in the shop waiting to be rebuilt. maybe at a later time he will sell custom parts such as this. i know he also has a tranny adapter piece so you won't miss third gear :)

UniqueTII 04-19-02 07:15 PM

That looks pretty decent for spare parts thrown together.

vosko 04-19-02 08:23 PM

yeah its amazing what you can find when you open your eyes :)

kabooski 04-19-02 08:50 PM

any vids taken yet :)

vosko 04-19-02 09:06 PM

i have two videos of me pushing it after the TID popped off and broke wednesday 4/17/02 . i will have vids next wednesday if not may 4th and 5th for the spring compact nationals at etown :)

UniqueTII 04-19-02 09:10 PM

Low 13s, here you come.

vosko 04-19-02 09:15 PM

after installing the TID i have ALOT more torque in first and second gear. i say mid to low 13's now

UniqueTII 04-19-02 09:18 PM

When do you expect to get your cat-back?

kabooski 04-19-02 09:20 PM

Hey I was at the NHRA compact nationals at gainsville
most street class cars where 14 and above

except for a half-dozen that where running 9's 10's 11's 12's

so if you can get your car running deep into the 13's
you should do pretty good at the event
unless you fall asleep at the light or worse red-light

As long as you race at night its doable. Don't try to run in hot ass weather like I did.

yeah.... it should be interesting. most cars are slow rather than fast. i'm pretty good at getting between .500 and .600 lights :)

Oh man I have done this so many times it's not funny! ME WANT!!!

Gene 04-19-02 10:18 PM

Yeah I could use a tranny adapter thing too. I thought you said you got a new turbo? Did you puke that one too?
