the buzzer is located on the back of the gauge cluster. u can go to radio shack and solder in a new one or be happy like some people that u dont have to listen to the damn thing

DriftingB26RX7 11-12-05 04:28 AM

yea, fuckin lucky i hate that shit

dsmrx7 11-12-05 05:49 AM

I love that mine doesn't work.

arghx 11-12-05 09:22 AM

I used to hate it, but now I'm used to it. It does get annoying in say 3rd gear though because you're going to hear it longer before you shift.

Sideways7 11-12-05 09:27 AM

I can't even really hear it over my exhaust.....

tr4c3 11-12-05 09:55 AM

I took mine out...pain in the ass.

Tofuball 11-12-05 11:26 AM

I like mine. Freaks out the passengers. :)

fastrax203 11-12-05 11:30 AM

sound? only s5s i guess

herrafass 11-12-05 11:31 AM

i like Tofuball's opinion, but think of it this way, do you really need the buzzer to tell you when you red line? some people don't. if you can tell by listening to your motor/glancing at the tach i wouldn't worry about it, but if you get excited while driving and forget to keep an eye/ ear on it, then fixing the buzzer is much preferred to fixing your motor.

arghx 11-12-05 11:38 AM

yeah passengers are like wtf who is honking when my shit goes off

JStewart 11-12-05 01:45 PM

its also a warning buzzer for low oil and coolant
