Uhh... where'd you put the logicon?

teamfuel 03-22-06 01:02 AM

I don't have any A/C or heater so I ditched it.

MrFC3S 03-22-06 01:11 AM

looks cool, i like it!!! :)

teamfuel 03-22-06 01:13 AM

I am little pissed though I broke the vent on the last time I took it out...went all day test fitting stuff and then with in five minutes from finishing...snap.

teamfuel 03-22-06 01:16 AM

I should give credit where it is due...the gauge pod is from 5one5 Innovations...sweet setup...nicely made and stock looking...sorta.

mossimopooky 03-22-06 01:21 AM

I like it, it looks good (as does the rest of ur car lol)

reatrdedspleen 03-22-06 02:35 AM

Kai 03-22-06 02:53 AM

It's just you.

Wankel7 03-22-06 03:08 AM

....wierd...10-20 minutes later they now popup...the internet sucks sometimes

Alex Rodriguez 03-22-06 04:40 AM

how much did you pay for it

JoshRX7 03-22-06 04:48 AM

not my cup of tea, but good work. I happen to like the idiot lights in the factory position. I have one of the 3-gauge DIN setups that sits below the aftermarket stereo. You must not need heat in Houston. I could never get away with that in Louisville, KY.

Oni-kyan 03-22-06 06:33 AM

Nice man
glad your happy sorry I didnt respond to your email right away but I dint have internet all the time down south
el nene 7 he paid the group buy rate for the gauge pod

Thanks Mael

That is a great looking job!! The 5one5 pods do look good! I am looking forward to installing my triple pod and my door card pod.

I meant to ask. Did you have to lengthen the wires for the idiot lights and/or clock at all? I am planning on putting mine down where the stereo used to be and wanted to see if I needed to buy more wire and some splices before I got started. Thanks in advance.

I also have the Idiot light guage pod, you should make them. I always get people PM'ing me about them, especially on the torquecentral.com forum.

Actually it barelly reached...If you remove the glove box and reach up behind the dash there is a wiring clamp that you must open up to make it reach...but that is better than cutting the wires.

I really liked the idiot lights there too, it took me a long time to decide to do this...I wanted my boost gauge right there but I didn't wanted to block the view of the idiot lights...to make a long story short I looked at a lot of the different pods out there and this was the one I liked the most...I want to keep the idiot lights working and in sorta a stock location...I didn't want the one that puts the gauges down by the stereo because that is farther from my line of sight than the stock location...I wanted them right in my line of sight.

Yeah the heater doesn't do much good down here...my heater core went out and I really do want to spend the money to fix it...not having A/C sucks, being a black car in one of the hottest places in America...

BoostedRex 03-22-06 01:33 PM

Pat, I PM'd you about the pod. And to anyone else who didn't catch it in the first post of this thread. These pods are made and sold by 5one5 Innovations out of Canada. You can either email the shop owner or PM me if you are interested in buying one.

I've never been to TX
Aren't you from there too?

Must be hot there.. I assume.

It's ok, not my personal taste for gauges. Good job.

ProjectR13B 03-22-06 02:34 PM

thats awesome man. very inovative since i have never seen it before. still have idiot lights, and a good place for gauges haha/.

teamfuel 03-22-06 04:18 PM

Thanks for all the compliments...I am hoping to replace the torn up steering wheel some time soon...It has taken a while to get all the interior pieces (lots were missing when I bought it)...anyone have the center vents?

BoostedRex 03-22-06 04:23 PM

PM Jesus cookies. He might have some laying around. Or Banzaitoyota. Those would be the two guys I'd try first. If not you could always order new ones from Victoria British/Black Dragon Auto.

I don't know about Victoria British/Black Dragon Auto but I did look at Corksport and a couple of others and they want $75+ for them, that is crazy!!! Thanks for the leads though.
