New Fuel Pump / FPR

I bought a walbro 255 last week and planned on installing it tomorrow in my s4 turbo. The car is completely bone stock. I'm trying to prep my car for the rest of the upgrades that I plan on doing. After reading several pages after searching the pump installation and the fc3s pro website stage build, I had decided to order a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump. I still might, however after reading some of the threads in this forum, I think a FPR would be more in order. I ordered an Aeromotive 13109 FPR.

I was reading their install doc and noticed that it stats:

"To use the enclosed regulator in your vehicle’s fuel system, you must install the necessary adapter fittings and orings, high pressure fuel lines and/or fuel injector rails to adapt your system to the configuration and ports of this regulator."

Will I run into problems if I have not upgraded the injector rails and fuel lines just yet?

Would it still be a good idea and go ahead with the Boost-A-Pump?

Also, is there a guide or somewhere you can point me in the right direction to rewire the fuel pump?

Your in luck.

The S4 rails are threaded. Reted's website has the parallel fuel mod which shows the threading for the rails.

At the least, you will need fuel rail adapter fitting/Then 6an fittings and line and then a few adapters for the 6an line to FPR and then from the FPR to the return line.

Earls fittings makes a o-ringed 12x1.25 to 6an 90 degree fitting to attach to the s4 rail, note:check the thread pitch to make sure its 1.25 . You can get it from summit, and aeroquip makes compression fittings to attach -6an to your hardlines. I have a couple pics in this thread
