wow someone really fucked that thing up...i know how you feel mine was pretty screwed up wiring wise when i got it

Meatkibble 06-03-07 07:18 PM

ok, not to be rude, however, there are wiring diagrams of your car online...i beleive in the FAQ there are links, as well as in most car guides (haynes and chilton) so i suggest picking up one of those...

Tovock 06-03-07 07:32 PM

well your not rude, however most of them arent very clear without an electrical engineering degree. being there are some people here who know the wiring like the back of their hand. so if your not going to be useful or have an answer dont bother posting. I have spent a good while digging through fsm's and some of the shit im working on is so messed up you couldnt tell what it is or where it originally was.

I have no EE degree... makes perfect sense to me!

Suiicidalpenguin 06-03-07 08:16 PM

if you can figure out a map you can figure out the diagram... there is a key beforehand. Read the key and refer to it. Most of the FSM's tell you everything down to the color itself

the most common interior hackups are usually do to
1. aftermarket/custom alarms
2. aftermarkte/custom stereos.

check to see if those wires have any effect on those. i cant say that i know which wires those are. i'm just taking a shot in the dark.

If it's near the steering column, there was probably some sort of alarm installed. If those two other plugs were in the center console with the "security" lights, they are probably part of it. I pulled my security light out and made it work with an aftermarket alarm LED, so that's probably what they did. Use a meter to test voltage on them to find out what they do, and then check to make sure everything works, i.e. dome light, door locks, windows, etc.

Seriously, any idea on the first 2 pics? that is obviously a damaged stock part just concerned on what it is/was.
Suiicidalpenguin and micaheli honestly i dont care, once again more useless info that doesnt help solve the problem
