Need Help with problems

I found out this past friday that my car's engine was toast. The water seals are gone. The engine runs fine except for the constant overheating. I can only get about 5-10 mins down the road before it overheats. I like the motor that is in it now because it is street ported and has 91 housings (I have an 87 TII). I know it needs to be replaced or rebuilt, but seeing as I'll be in college this fall I wont have the money to fix it. Is there anything I can do to make it driveable as a temporary fix. I should have the money by mid fall, so it would only be friven for a couple of months. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
