Need engine
Found out my Apex seal blew out of my 88 GTU N/A. They said I need a new engine. Is that right if I can buy the Apex seals separate. I've been on atkinsrotary.com, mazdarx-7.com, and revolutionrotary.com. Any suggestions. Any help in the Charleston, SC area. Thanks Mike

You will need to rebuild the engine if you blew a apex seal. It would the equivlent of blowing a piston ring in a piston engine.
In most cases a blown apex seal will also require you to replace the housing and rotor as well.
