N/A brake help

Ok i know what everyone is going to say. Do more research. I have and i cannot get a black and white answer. Is is possible to put the stock four piston calipers off a TII on a four lug base model? Basicly just bolt on or serious modifying. Appriciate the help!

Doing a search for 5 lug brake conversion might give you some info, but to answer your question, yes people have done this but "I believe" you need to change hubs with 5 lugs, rotors for 5 lug hubs, calipers with 4 pistons and possibly the flexible brake hoses. It's not really a simple mod but it can be done.

4 pots are 5 lug
rotor is not the same size on 4 lug.
in other words you need to swap to 5 lug or redrill the new rotors for 4 lug

for parts and procedure, search

The 4-piston caliper will bolt on to the spindle, but it won't line up properly to the single piston rotor in the sense of pad placement.

So, the short answer is a no, the long answer is a yes with a but.

Thank you all for clearing that up for me. Looks like im stuck with single pistons due to the fact that i have brand new four lug wheels.

i will check tommarow when i get up to my uncles(where my 4lug 87 is) i'll try my 4 pots(awaiting rebild kit) on them. you might need to find now rotors to use them.

That would be great!
