I'm wondering... shouldn't the e-fan thermo sensor be located on the bottom radiator hose?

I mean... after all, the point of the e-fan is to kick in and help the cooling system when the radiator's cooling capacity isn't enough -- and this should be measured after the water goes through the radiator... right?

What did you do to get the belt drive to work? I have the same kit and when I turn the car over the belt walks a couple 8ths of an inch off the e-shaft pulley on the bottom

The gilmer kit was far from being plug-n-play... had to modify stuff a bit to make everything align properly

Are you running the PS pulley over the main one as well?

from just about everything i've read about them, that seems to be par for the course.

No, because the temp at the bottom of the rad can be misleading. You want the temp sensor to look directly at how hot the engine is running. That's why the stock temp switch (not sensor) for the auxiliary fan mounts at the top of the thermostat housing. The coolant thermo sensor for the ECU is also near the thermostat (the two pin sensor threaded from the back at the housing).

No I'm just running the alternated, water pump, and e-shaft pulleys, it seems like the alternated pulley needs to go on the shaft further but wont. I work at a machine shop so u could throw it on the lathe but I don't wanna remove material unless I have to

The coils are just great. Couldn't be happier.

My alternator pulley went in smoothly. I have an FD alternator though. I had to modify the water-pump and main pulleys quite a bit for everything to fit perfectly.

Damn, my water pump and e-shaft fit perfectly just that damn top pulley
