Sorry, but the Meter fuse really gets around other than the gauges. I'd make suspect the audio changes that you made recently. Look for a Black wire with a Yellow stripe on it.
Meter fuse does the combination meter, cruise control, backup lights, AAS, cooling fan, theft protection, warning and digital clock, key cylinder lights, seat belt warning buzzer, door locks and stuff in general. See if you did something PECULIAR with a black/yellow wire and then download the series four wiring schematics and view them. |
thanks for looking out, isn't there wiring diagrams on here somewhere?? I connect some stuff from under the hood the other day so hopefully thats it, but with my luck I'll be back...

you got a short to power somewhere.

How is the problem going? I'm currently dealing with this problem. The guy that had the car before me did some audio work, but I haven't had problems up until about 1 month ago. (I've owned the car for about 4 months.) I'm going to look over some wiring diagrams tomorrow and try to figure this out.

don't bump. Bumps are not allowed here in the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section and will be deleted when found. Furthermore bumps make you look like a spoiled child that thinks your question is more important than any of the 20000 other members.
So when you got the car, the meter fuse was blown, or you have done something recently and now the fuse blows??? The most common is that a clutch job was done, and the reverse light wires got ripped. |
