mazdaspeed coilovers
ive come across some used mazdaspeed coilovers for the fc and i was thinking of buying them, but i cant find much info on them. on the catalog, it says the coilovers dont come with struts or coils. so i dont really know what this guy is selling. does anyone have more infor on mazdaspeed coilovers? like are they dampening and ride height adjustable? how do they feel, better for autoX, drift, or just for track, is it survivable as a DD coilover? i like stiff rides, but i dont want to feel like im having a seizure if i approach some road thats not perfect.

How much are they? MS stuff tends to be pretty pricey. You might do better with some new Tein or Stance or something, they both have some pretty good stuff and can be sent for rebuilds in the US, at least Tein can anyway.
What are you planning to use the car for? |
What he may be selling is the threaded tubes that accept Koni cartridges. Mazdaspeed sells these as do a few other places (Rotor Sports, AWR, etc).
http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/per...uspensions.htm Scroll down until you see "AWR EO4-7202, FC3S 2nd Gen Front Strut Tubes". The rears are right below it, it's a threaded collar that slides over the rear shock. |
Let me get this right, he's selling COILOVERS w/ not struts and no coils.......

i dont know exactly what he is selling, but i do know his sn here is houstonderk or something, hes parting out his car and im thinking of getting his "mazdaspeed coilovers" for 400 + trade for stock struts/springs. I read on the mazdaspeed catalog that the "coilovers" dont include springs/struts, but idk if there are actual MS coilovers. just wondering. this car is my DD but i want to try some SCCA stuff when i think my car is ready/ im ready.
