It's a system, you need to treat it as such, you can't just mix and match parts on a whim, you need to use the whole TII rear end and axles either with a hybrid driveshadt, or change out the driveshaft, transmission, flywheel, clutch and slave all to TII parts.

if ur daring

u can jack up only 1 side of the back

and put it into gear.. and SLOWLY let out the clutch..

the open diff will transfer all the power to the wheel in the air..

and the car wont go anywhere...

if it's LSD.. it'll just start to bog and go off...

U can also do the One wheel in the dirt one wheel on the road method..

if only the wheel in the dirt spins.. ur open..

as for ppl who say there's no diff..

mine deffinately looks diff..

and u can't bolt it in..

driveshaft doesn't fit

and the half shafts are way smaller..

No one ever denied there being a difference between the TII and the NA diffs, they're different and can't be swapped in directly, you need to change other things, like I just said. That's not the point, the point is that the NA cars came with either a clutch type (S4) or a viscous type (S5) LSD that in no way is any different externally than the open diff that came in either series of car. They can be swapped over directly, with the only differences being internal (the viscous stubs are unequal length for instance).

THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NA LSD AND OPEN DIFF HOUSINGS! STOP CONFUSING THE ISSUE WITH THE TII VS NA ISSUE!

READ THE WHOLE THREAD BEFORE POSTING THE SAME STUPID SHIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN, WE COVERED THIS ALREADY MULTIPLE TIMES AND THAT'S NOT WHAT THE OP WAS ASKING ABOUT!
