Lateral link problem...

So as I'm driving today, I gunned it to get on the freeway. I hear a light clunking noise two or three times from the rear. I got off the gas because I didn't want **** to break.

So later, I'm under the car looking at stuff. Well, it almost looks like one of my lateral links is bent. Problem two is, there are no nuts on the inside bolts (the two nearest the differential.) Awesome. I remember when I redid my subframe, these wouldn't come out at all. Even after pounding on the nut, + using a pickle fork (this was after a day of PB blaster too.)

So, I'm going to take a guess + say I need new lateral links. In the mean time, what is the thread pitch of the lateral link nuts? I can't find the master nut/bolt thread.

Also, if I drill the middle of the bolts out, do you think they'll come out? I tried hitting them w a hammer forever... Nothing happened.

Do I need to pull my subframe again? (((((((((

Please say no, but if you say yes, then I'll just rebuild my diff as well.

Thanks.

No need to pull the sub frame.
New links would be a good idea,i rolled mine up and down the driveway and beat it straight w/ a 5 lb hammer when I was in a pinch, but theY're cheap so why not do it right?

Not sure why you're having such a hard time getting them or though. Try hitting the link itself instead of the bolt, maybe that will help? Btw I would be concerned about WHy your link is bent and what other damage was caused.

It kind of looked like some parts of the subframe or connected parts were rubbing up against the undercarriage. This happened after doing a full turbo swap + adding delrin mounts all around + individual camber adjusters. I'll look into it more. I still need an alignment.

But lateral links don't just bend from doing a swap (unless you dropped the subframe out of a truck or something) there must have been some significant trauma to cause that and that trauma more than likely through something else out of wack. Don't worry, when you try to align it it should come to light

Do you know what the thread pitch is for the nuts on the lateral links?
