Go to the dealership, ask them to cut you a new key.

Mazsport (www.mazsport.net) in Clearwater, FL sells the rotor key, key blanks. I've got one, love it. And if you go to the dealership, you still might be simply lucky to get a new key. Ilco's are just about it.

Yep.. They are like 7-14 (can't remember if I bought one or two) bucks each at the dealership. Bring your key and they'll cut you a new one. Some dealerships, as rumor has it, can cut you a new key just from your vin number.

Yeap, the dealer near me cut the key when I gave them my VIN number. He said "okay, ill be right back" came back 2 mins later, and asked me to test it out. It worked, and I paid for it. 12 bucks if I remember.

You'll have to go into the online store/ebay store part in the goods section, i think. And yes, dealerships can cut keys using only your VIN number. I used to have that done when I used to repossess cars. That way, I never BROKE anything when I had to take a car.

You can't use FD keys in FC. I bought one off of ebay + tried to have it cut. First off it wasn't even steel, then the guy says that the key isn't even the same (the bumps that go along it aren't the same, even though they looked like it to me) So I got effed on that...

Only problem w cutting from the VIN is that if you had your locks changed... You'd be SOL.

They have the Efini Key Blank on RX7store, but it says it only works on the FD.

Is it too thick or will it work?
