jspec ecu, is it worth it?
I'm ordering a jspec 13bt S4 is there any benefit on spending an extra $150 on the jspec ecu. Because this is going on my 88 T2.

if your asking if you need it for the car to run? i dunno
if your asking if it's any better than the USDM one . NO |
NO youll hit a wall at 4000 rpm i had a jdm ecu for my t2
the jdm ecu wont work on the usdm cars |
If you are odering a J spec 13 bt then get the ECU with it. IIRC the USDM ECU won't work with the JDM engine.

Not everyone using the Japanese ECU has problems, but there's no advantage to it. It won't make your car any faster...
