I now wear goggles when I port. I used to wear glasses but a metal shaving got around it and stuck in my left eye. Luckily with some very steady hands, my dad used a magnet and got it out. It was there for almost 8 hours until he did it though. You can't be too careful. You'll want some thick gloves on too. You don't want to use them for anything else though.

yeah i waz using my normal glasses, then goggles over them, but no gloves ill wear some next time

no gloves are ok. a mask. one that coverts your whole breathing area. not with canisters though, just a regular paper mask.

I just put goggles on and go at it, in short sleeves and shorts with no gloves.
