If you were building an FC for fun in 2018...
 

For a dedicated fun/street car and is also pretty well stripped and lightened.
So lets say you could either:

1. Build a billet aluminum 13B (Promaz or Billet Inc. etc...), keeping it NA and run around 210whp
2. Keep the irons, use a turbo and be closer to 350 or 400whp

The NA having the reliability advantage, and also lighter weight (Billet block and NA drivetrain). Plus its a bit higher tech with a newer block. Alternatively have more WHP, but also the complexity and wear that turbo territory brings.
No PP due to volume and street-ability hence the HP ranges. No V8 because no.

If I were rich I'd do a build of each but unfortunately I am not.
Knowing what we know now over the years (Reliability vs power, heat etc...)
I'm addicted to the idea of both, but can only afford one for our project.

If it were me since I've always kicked around going turbo. I'd go that route. For the money that a billet engine would cost you could switch to a REW( if you can find one in stock).

If staying at 200RWHP NA, a billet engine is a serious overkill, basically the only thing you are gaining is the weight savings. Since we are dreaming here, I would rock a 3 rotor (short crank) PP NA engine, preferably done with 12A rotors and rotors housings.
