I change my plugs about once a year. But I drive the car quite a lot which tends to keep plugs clean.

Generally once a year should be fine for most people. If you make a load of short trips and the car never warms up, then it will take a far greater toll on your plugs.

Pull a leading and trailing plug and then examine them. If they have sooty black deposits and you are sure the car is running correctly, it may be worth considering dropping down a heat range.

I just did mine on my bridgeport and what a difference.Car idles way better and drives nicer!I do my tune up every six months but my car is driven hard and almost daily,on my NA if they look fine and the car runs good they stay there for as long as they perform right.

One significant flood and you really should change your plugs

i hvae a shut off for my fuel pump so no flooding for me. and actually around the boot have been black soot stuff i can wipe right off. and when you say lower heat range are you saying i should use one lower than stock heat range? and they are ngk plugs does it matter what ones i use. i like ngk since from what i know they are a more high dollar brand than some.

Stock NA?Use stock NGK spark plugs, mid to highly modified turbo cars or NAs running nitrous or some exotic port job that is when you get into heat range, for now replace them with factory plugs.
Why you have a fuel pump switch?tired motor, leaky injectors? You should look in to that.

was in before the new 13b was put in. im not sure if a new crate comes with injectors but this engine has around 10k on it. the shut off was for when it had the old engine i belive it was modded in a way nessacary for it. now i retain it so i dont flood like some have said.

some cars burn through plugs quicker than others. i usually change my leadings about every 10k miles and the trailings once every 20k.

good

A crate motor is just a block.

I usually change them around 10k. This last time I waited until about 12k, and one of the leading plugs had almost no electrode left. I was wondering why I'd get an occasional puff of smoke on cold starts.

^ me two, my car is hard on plugs. i generally change around 10k
