i'm wondering the same question.....

are you talking pressure-as in boost? or vacuum as in in-hg? if it's a stock 88 t2 you should see no more than 6 psi boost ever, unless you've modified exhaust or something more, then it could be up to 10psi but you would hit fuel cut at around 8 psi without a fuel cut defenser. but if you're talking about vacuum at idle...with stock ports you should see a max of 20 in-hg to as low as 14-16 in-hg. ported engines pull less vacuum than stock ported ones, and also a stock ported engine will pull less vacuum when something is about to go wrong i.e. apex seals, or some kind of vacuum leak.

look at my sig in the first post :) I ment vacuum at idle and on my car its 15 so I'm sure I have a bit left in the engine but not as high as 20 so that kinda sucks! Anyways thanks for answering my question.

well if you look at the title you were asking how much vacuum pressure you should be seeing, and vacuum and pressure are 2 totally opposite things, so get your terms straight. i was covering all bases because i didn't know exactly what the hell you were trying to ask.

sorry didn't mean to get mean. just trying to explain my point of view.

no I should have worded it better. It was late when I posted it 3:00am my time and I've got the flu so I'm not thinking clearly :)
