How much torque with 320-350rwhp?
I was looking at ACT clutches and they all say good to such and such torque. I am taking a wishful guess that I have 320-350rwhp. I am running a BNR stage 3 so I dunno. So what torque do you think I would be around?

Be careful with the reference...
If I had to guess, it would be more like 240 - 280 lb-ft, but that's referenced at the rear wheels. The clutch don't care about the rear wheels, but it would be most interested at the brake torque at the flywheel. 260 - 300 brake lb-ft the flywheel would be right about 240 - 280 lb-ft at the rear wheels. :) -Ted |

Ok thanks guys I appreciate the input I think I can get away with a street disc and the extreme pressure plate as that is suppose to be good for 400 and some odd ft lbs.
Hondahater I do not believe I am dialed in 100% but I would think pretty close. I am buying a wideband before next summer so I can dial it in a little tighter. I have not had it on a dyno or anything. I can tell you this though it is a whole new car. The car with the amount of power it now has is extremly fun to drive. I am now lookignat what clutch to buy as I had a CenterforceII it worked fine until I did the upgrades. Then it would slip 1/2 the time going into 2nd and somtimes on launch. I did the FMIC, injectors, BOV and turbo all at the same time. I would say stay right around 10psi on pump gas and retard the timing 3 degrees. I was getting detonation on 92 octane between 13 and 15psi. I am also looking at upgrading my ignition. I was running 20 psi ( according to my auto meter boost gauge) and never had any problems on the pump gas. Anyway I think the BNR stage3 is great especially for the money and ease of a direct bolt on. If you have any other ?s feel free to PM me. Thanks again guys for the help with the tq ft lbs. Jeremy |

If the hybrid is still using the stock carbon seal, I'm surprised it hasn't died yet.

I think bnr replaces that seal. correct me if I'm wrong but thats why he puts the 360* thrust bearing in the turbo for people that ask for it because they are going to be going above 15psi if they are going above that than obviously his turboes are made for it.

I believe there is a dynamic seal retrofit on one of the levels, but I don't think it's the Stage III one? It might be the Stage IV one? The 360-degree thrust bearing has nothing to do with the carbon / dynamic seal. -Ted |
