how much power can a NA diff/ axels take before they break

my friend wants to trade his T2 to NA driveshaft, welded diff, axels for my T2diff axels and driveshaft

my rx7 makes 200ish hp and i do like 5 or 6k rpm clutch dumps and and drift my car daily on the streets when no one is around. do you think the na welded diff/axels will break easily with how i drive and my power i make?

how much power can a na diff and axels take before something breaks?

i have a friend who had a t2 with a na diff and she broke axels all the time, we dont know how much power she made but it made enough to break axels 3 times, ill include a video of her below

and i want a welded diff because my t2 diff spins open sometimes when sideways

Doing shit like that, they'll break every time. 6k rev drops in a 200+ driveline that's built to hold 160, yeah. It'll never last.

Don't trade your buddy.

Another question, can I weld a turbo 2 clutch type lsd

what he said^^^

turbo Bridgeport running a n/a diff theres your problem lol, why they even wet the road?? there was no need to rev it that high to get it spinning. I bet your clutch loves the 6k rpm/redline clutch drops too.
constantly abuse the car and it will not last, unless youv got some decent bits on the car, even then nothing is unbreakeable.

It's the clutch dumps that break it. Normally the stub shaft.

I'm no going to comment on "drifting" on the street when "no one is around". What, you have a fleet of drones above the area for 5 miles making sure no one else is on the road when you are hooning around?

Open diffs take a lot more abuse than LSD due to the lack of traction.

I probably made 200 1/4 mile passes at 400HP on an NA diff. It was 201 that broke the stub shaft after I upgraded to an LSD.

For mild upgrades the NA diff is fine. For abuse, whether it be NA or turbo, it isn't.

Aaron said "hooning" and I'm not sure how to feel about it. The Cake doesn't seem like the "hooning" type.

+1

Questions like these bother me about the strength in parts.

I made over 400HP on a drag radial on a NA diff. No clutch dumps or anything and it was just fine.

Remember it's tire material and how you drive in the end.

buddies stock 1jz in fc with w58 on welded s5 n/a. havent had problems yet. track drift car and replacement diffs are cheap anyways.
