Exclamation how the hell do you get the front center caps off?

okay, i'm replacing the brake pads and putting in slotted/cross drilled rotors while i'm at it, but i want to take the whole wheel hub off so i can clean up the brake shield. The front wheel has the damn center cap on it (not the plastic hub cap) covering up the hub nut but i have no idea how to get it off...Help me out here
