Hot! Hot! Hot!
Anybody Out There Got Some Advice On What Happens When A Turbo Overheats? The Motor Turns Over But Won't Start. I Found A Hotwired Fuel Pump And Fouled Plugs That Were Changed And Firing Properly. I Figure To Do The Atf And Pull Start Routine This Weekend. The Engine Has Good Compression But Has Water Or Condensation In The Oil. The Reason I Feel That It Has Overheated Is Due To Evidence Of Overheat Residue On Coolant Fill Tube And No Coolant In Engine. This Is A Seized Car That I Know Very Little About Other Than It Was A Daily Driver Until November. Worth Fixing? If Not, Anybody Need Parts????

OK, took the caps lock off. The engine started today on carb cleaner and idles fine. No obvious smoke but severe coolant leak on shop floor when I backed it out. Don't these things have a cold start solenoid or something? Anyway, I'm content that it is running so I can sell it. Anybody want to make an offer? It's an 87 Turbo II in pretty good shape, no rust, needs pass fender fixed and repaint.
