Help with vac lines

The PO did the vac line routing.
The line going from A to B doesn't actually do anything, is this OK? The line from D goes up to point E which is the secondary injectors rail. Is this OK? I think somebody told me that port D should go to a metered port. Vac port C is just capped off, should it be? I do have the oil injectors tied into a port on the firewall side of the UIM. I tried to trace the lines out on the drawing but nothing on my S5 T2 seemed to go to where it should be. thanks Attachment 464886 |

Port C attaches to port E. |
Is this the engine that you are having a problem with?
the 4 oil injectors have no vacuum lines running to them. |

aside from the oil injectors without vacuum lines, everything else should be fine. as long as the secondary rails FPR gets a vac source from the manifold itll work.

A to B is suppose to be like that for the fuel injector air bleed. If i remember correctly from deleting my rats nest there should be another hose on the other side of the rear secondary that goes to one of the 3 vac ports on the back of the uim.
Like calpico said the fpr should have its own vac source from the manifold because im about 99% sure that D is supposed to be the air bleed for the primary injectors. If C is an available vac port i'd use that for the fpr and run a line from D up to the back of the uim to one of the other ports where the other air bleed goes to. |
