Well start off and see if your injectors are getting power. Do this by getting a voltmeter and checking the pins on the harness at the ECU. Check 3E and 3C. Make sure that are getting a reading of around 12v with the ignition ON. Then check pins 3A and 3G with the ignition OFF and make sure it is reading 0v. If 3E and 3C are not reading around 12v, then your injectors aren't getting power. If 3A and 3G read something other than 0v then your ground are corrorded and needed to be cleaned or replaced.

If you are getting random firing, then you have fuel. Try more unflooding.

would the fact that i am runing 9s for plugs all the way around have sometrhing to do with the cold start problem

The rotary engine needs pretty fast cranking RPM to build compression.
A weak battery won't do it.

Clean BUR9's should get you started, but they may foul after 1K miles.

Make sure that when you running 9s you warm up the car EVERYTIME you start. 9s take longer to reach operation temps (self cleaning) then 7s do.
