One last thing. Are you using the led light connected to the ecu to check for injector pulse?

Edit: Have you also checked your CAS?

No. I dont have a led plugin tester, but what else could it be if not the ECU? I rang out the wires from the CAS to the ECU harness, and they are reading good.

The led light cost a dollar at your local Radio Shack and it's worthwhile to have laying around. Also, you can remove the small pug from the ecu and with the key to on take the reading at the plug of pin 3E (light green- LG) which is the front primary injector and pin 3C ( light green/ black stripe- LG/B) which is the rear primary. Should both have battery voltage (12 volts). For some reason your injectors night not have voltage and after this test you will know one way or another.

You can remove the CAS but leave it connected and with key to on you can spin the gear at the bottom of the CAS and you would hear the spark plugs firing and the injectors pulsing/clicking.

Edit: The CAS trick works best if you have a second one laying around so you don't have to reset the timing of the original one.

The 3 CAS sensors i have ohm ok, and did the spin trick, and nothing. I'm in the middle of pining out the ECU.

Might not help, but the B/Y wire which comes out of the main relay takes a stop at the coils first and then the next stop is the injectors but the B/Y wire first has to go to the emissions harness first before it can go to the injectors. The front harness connects to the emissions harness at plug "X-11" which is by the passenger kick panel. After the voltage passes from the front harness to the emissions harness it goes to the injectors via the B/Y wire of the "emissions harness" and then from the injectors to the ecu via the light green wires.

I'm not getting my 1v at my CAS im getting .03v I'm thinking ECU still. This SUCKS

Does your car have a factory alarm? Also, I was under the impression that you had an S4 for some reason and I checked your profile and saw that you actually have an S5, so some of the info I provided you was erroneous. Sorry!

turboIImadman 03-10-10 05:44 PM

Yes I have an S-5, and it does have the factory alarm/security light. I'ts ok i realized that when you told me the wrong pin numbers. no worries. How do you tell if that alarm is affecting it?

Very good question and I wish I had a competent response but as I understand it the alarm comes into effect when the key is turned to "start" and not when the key is turned to "on." I'm not 100% positive on this but if this were correct then that would explain how the key to on would allow the main relay to click as you already mentioned it did.

from what the wiring schematic says. The alarm computer has a start interuption relay that looks like it only does that. The voltage to the ECU is good, so are the grounds, and i also have my 12 volts to my 4 coil wires. Anyone know where i can get a cheap s-5 turbo ECU?
