I found this brake master cylinder brace on ebay made for a rhd fc... I know it's not made by cusco. There's no part number what so ever. Im wondering if it's either custom/home made or from another car ??? I will get the chance to install it next weekend... For now just curious. Thanks in advance.

 

Jeez, that thing- and the car it's installed on- looks like it sat underwater for a while.

Oh, no doubt...my comment was a trifle snarky and didn't help identify the part.
Never seen a brace configured like that, the "grip" around the nose of the MC is weird and would potentially eliminate certain MCs from fitting (I think).

 

That is interesting, I didn't know there was such a thing , Like you say clean it up maybe shape it a bit so it's not square and it will be just like downtown .. I like it when people make their own stuff when possible . It does have two sets of holes looks like for two different lengths of masters so it may be sold by some jobber shop .

 

Your car is RHD?
Don't see that fitting a LHD chassis.

 

No the only way that would fit on left is to cut the nut off the bracket and weld on the other side of the nut if the well is the same and the booster is oriented in the same place to fit the master , it kinda looks like aluminum but not a big deal .

 

My car is LHD... Once I get the chance to work on the car, then I will be able to see if any holes will align with the shock tower or if I have to make new ones.
or I can flip it upside down and make new holes in the shock tower...

 

Seems like you're going to a lot of trouble to modify a part that's not going to fit, especially when a very effective brace can be made in about 30 minutes...

 

you might be right. But I got the part now and will post back with an update
