Help with electrical problem please

Hi, and thanks in advance to whoever can help me out with this. I've got an 88 vert. It seems to me that I've got a bad ground or maybe some oxidation on a harness connector or something, but I'm not sure where to look. The most pressing problem is that I can't get the passenger side window to go up. Here are the other symptoms though.

1. For awhile now, I've only been able to raise that window with the passenger side switch, though I could lower it with the driver side switch.
2. The beeping alarm sometimes goes off intermittently.
3. If the radio is set to use the door speaker in the driver side door, the radio will shut itself off. I've been told this is because it thinks the speaker is bad, and shuts down to protect itself. This isn't the factory radio, and the speaker itself is ok.
4. Normally, I can see a little power drain when raising or lowering a window. I'm not seeing anything at all with the passenger side window. I'm almost certain this isn't a motor issue. I don't think the wiring is doing what it should.

Because of the age of the car now, I'm thinking it's an oxidation issue. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Just to clarify

I think I overdid it the first time... the main problem is getting the passenger side window to go up. Either switch shows a little voltage drop when attempting to put it down, neither does anything when trying to put it back up. Thanks

Probably a bad drivers window switch.

Please read the FAQ for FC sticky thread, found at the top of this, the 2nd gen RX-7 Technical section. It covers beeps and what they mean.

either a bad speaker, shorted speaker wire (most common with aftermarket equipment) or a bad radio

Power window motors almost never ever fail. The switches are the weak point, with the drivers switch being the weakest point. The contacts in the switch get all carbon'd up, and the window tracks get gummed up, leading to the switch overheating and failing. Clean the contacts in the switch and see if that solves the issue.
