headlight conversion

I want to get rid of the single headlight assembly with the prebuilt in bulb to one that allows me to switch out the bulbs when neccessary. I want to do this because I got free razo h4 xenon bulbs and the only way to add them is to get a the headlights that can fit them. ive seen these headlights on ebay but they are cheap and come with cheap bulbs. i wanted to know where i can get the headlight itself with no bulbs.

Just buy the ebay ones.

The housing and lens are pretty good quality, if you don't want to use the bulbs, then pitch them.

Any speed shop who'll sell you simply the housing and lens assembly will want 3 times what you'll pay on Ebay for the bulb and housing.

I have DOT legal lens housings that allow H4 bulbs to be used on my website/store.

I like this warning Mark:

Do not attempt to install the lighting system in a vehicle that is moving. Please park the vehicle and turn the key to the OFF position, before attempting any sort of installation.
LOL

Mark do you have a picture of what the headlight housings look like? I am curious if it is a flutted lens or a crystal clear lens.

Also do you have them available in E-Code? I love E-Codes. For off road use only of course...

E-code is European headlight specs. They have a cut off that looks like a V sort of.

E-Code:

Dot/Vor

New Dot/Vor look like E-code too actually. I like the E-code because they are much easier to aim and seem to give you more light. The cut off on the left side is supposed to keep the light down and out of the eyes of passing traffic while the right hand side is raised up to allow the light to go higher and further. I MUCH more like E-codes after driving with them for a couple years. They are also easier to aim because they have a clear center point and cut off.

Their only $42 on Mazdamark's page. I guess you can't expect fancy crystal clear lenses for only $42, but I can hope. I guess flutted lenses aren't that bad anyhow. I mean you only have your headlights open when it's dark right?

The lenses I offer are fluted glass which is best for DS type bulbs (most H4 replacements that have a silver/reflector built into or on the tip of the bulb- a prime example of this is the Sylvania Silverstar bulb- and most true Hi/Lo HID systems).

Using a clear glass lens (such as the diamond cut ebay lenses) with a DS bulb will result in a blurred rounded light image. Examples of this can be found in the HID light thread: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...2&page=1&pp=15

The clear lens housings really need a DR type bulb, which is almost not found in the USA.

Cool. I'll have to pic up a set from your site then.

On a side note I changed my corroded lead battery terminals yesterday to new ones and my lights are actually quite brighter! My voltameter reads slightly higher too. That corrosion kills.... I put on gold plated terminals from auto zone.
