Headlight Conversion

New to the site, so could somebody let me know where I can get the Headlight conversion where it takes out the pop-ups, and makes them flat, or point me to the right forum. Thanks

J

What kind of 'flat' ?
There's the cut out bumper like a Z31 (see icemark's post above) and there's ones that just fit in the square place where the stock popups were and have lexan over them. Like the light kit down the page here: http://www.rx7pro.com/catalog.0.html1.0.html

Wow, that sleek headlight conversion towards the bottom is really sweet looking. I've been wanting something like that for a while now. If only I had the money.

Yeah, that's the only headlight conversion kit for the FC that i actually like enough to even consider buying. Most of them ruin the look of the front end.
I <3 80s popups

He's talkinga bout flush headlights. I prefer retractable ones, though.

I've never been much of a fan of pop up headlights. I like the look of them ok when down, I just don't like how they look when up.

Whatever you do don't buy a sleek headlight kit from CP racing. You will either not get it after paying or get it after waiting like a year. Then on top of that it looks like absolute *** and the fitment blows.

All that stuff on rx7pro.com is done by Dltreezan on this forum. He's having some issues with funding and time. He has his own thread on his projects here too. He's making me a set of lights for my car. I can't wait to put em in.

I want Derek's lights so bad, but i dont have the money right now, i think when i decide to buy i'll get the ones he makes, they look really nice and they fit in the stock position. I've been following his thread for a while, he makes other kickass stuff too, i think i might have to get the shifter surround and door sills too.

FWIW, the version 2 of the CP kit is a MAJOR improvement on the first version. It's made of molded fiberglass, uses better lamps, and fits very well. Still not my style, but a much higher quality product then the first version...
