Headlight Conversion

I know that people have converted the HUGE pop-up light to a pair of smaller ones, but has anyone HERE thought of a conversion to the "smooth headlight" look?

I know fLyiNgOuFeR tried to do it, but he said it didn't come out like he hoped, seen here.

I really like that look, but don't want to shell out the outrageous amount of $ for a front kit ( Don't like the looks of the front after most kits eather )

Oh to have one of these....

Better yet....

Someday I will try to custom build one of those "smooth headlight" kit. What about if you cut the plastic bumper section in between the FTP lens and the TURN signal lens, that way you can fit a big round headlight like the A-Spec FD......that would be soooooo cooooll IMHO!!
