A buddy of mine has a Pace Setter header, straight pipe and Dynomax mufflers in Houston. It sounds nice at idle, but at WOT, it sounds like a weed-whacker. He said he likes the performance gain, but hates the cut in torque, and the annoying noise. Personally, I am doing the racepipe and cat-back, but leaving the old manifold in place. It just sounds better to me that way!

you do know that backpressure DOES NOT create torque right??
i had the pace setter header on my low 14 N/A, i didnt think it was bad, i had a straight 2.5" pipe with no silencers or mufflers, very very deep tone up to 3000 and then a weed whacker on steroids, but still a nice sound up there. |

The pipes they use are too thin for the rotray's heat. Carl |
