Header setup

So I have custom headers(not yet installed)that go from the engine to the main cat. I currently have my Bonez Racepipe installed and no cat. I also have all my emissions stuff removed(airpump, acv, etc.) So my question is whats my best option for putting on my headers. I could just hollow out my unused cat and use that from the headers to the y-pipe, but then in 2 years when I have to pass emissions again I will be in trouble. My other options are having a straight pipe welded for me to take up the space of the CAT. Another option is cut and reweld the Bonez Racepipe. The racepipe has a presilencer on it, will that make a big difference in sound over just a straightpipe? Has anybody ran headers with a presilencer and without? Has anybody used the Bonez Racepipe's presilencer as opposed to Racing Beats presilencer? I doubt the Bonez one is as effective. Comments anyone? Thanks.

right now i have a setup similiar to your but i have pacesetters on muh car going down to a cat then to an n1 single. i can replace the cat out with an unsilenced straight pipe in about 20-30 min including jacking the car. my race pipe i believe is a bonez one. it is NOT silenced and is the one they sell for 60 bucks. al it is is a pipe (2.5") with two flanges on each side to connect to it. you will loose a lot of torque if yo uhave 86-88 but the top end is amazing.
