Has anybody measured their gas tank?
 

I'm having fuel problems in my car... the lines are all rusted. I replaced them temporarily, but for a permanant solution I'd like to take the tank out and replace it with a fuel cell. Then I can replace the delivery and return lines with SS Braided hose.

Has anybody measured their fuel tank or put a fuel cell in the stock location? I'd like to start looking for the tank to get so when the snow melts I can put it in. (Yes, it's been snowing all weekend! :mad: )

I don't think you would get a very big fuel cell in there since they are square not custom fitted to the bottom of the car. to put a fuel cell in a 2nd gen you normaly cut out the floor of the truck and weld in some cross braces and have it sorta half in the truck and half below.

It's not too bad to weld in a container for it. I had to do that for a CRX I built. This time I'm going to get a top drain cell though.
