got some Q's
ok i was wondering this today. if everytime someone rebuilds a motor, even if they use new houseing and shit, that we have to be so careful for a 1000 miles or so. im pretty sure when people were getting these cars in the late 80's they were gunning the shit out of it right off the show room floor. why is this? :confused:

How do you know that? You hadn't even started school in the late-80's, so I doubt you were paying much attention to new-car buyer habits... ;)

Why are people stupid enough not to do a proper break-in? Why are engines being rebuilt? Why do we have to wait 1000 miles for break-in??? Why do you use new housings for a rebuild??? Geezuschrist, anyone speak proper English anymore??? -Ted |
whoa, sorry about not being clear. i was asking if mazda would tell people to take it easy when they first bought the car. you know, proper break in. Im pretty sure that alot of people though did not do the proper break in. that was me orignal ?.

It hasn't changed, NO dealerships (Mazda, chevy, ford) tell people anything after they buy the car. There's no driver training education.
You have read the manual or car literature, but most people don't. |
