I will only get boost when I get "worn out" up in the hills on the twisties. Or on a road race course...or on an autocross.

I'd rather stick with a well built N/A in a nice RX7 rather than a spraypainted RX7 with a used turbo that will likely break down everyday because the turbo project was done on a serious budget.

Build your N/A. Go turbo when you have the cash.
